Gene worked seamlessly with my architect and other engineers. All of his subcontractors were extremely skilled at their crafts and worked very well together. This was my first project with Gene. Even with the onset of the pandemic, Gene still kept my project moving forward. Everyday work was done. Due to the nature of my business, I used one of my subs (door access control) and Gene worked well with this relationship too. Gene did meet my budget and was able to find pricing and materials to even stay under budget in some areas. What impressed me the most was Gene's work with the County and permitting/inspections. His inspections always passed and never delayed the project. There have been some warranty issues since the completion of the project which Gene has addressed quickly. He was able to take my vision and turn it into a reality. In 2012 when it was time to add an office onto our building, Gene was our only choice. Gene served as contractor and project manager for our recent construction at GRACEPOINT School. This renovation project consisted of converting a large two-story warehouse type building into a warm and welcoming elementary school. As with many renovation projects, the older building presented numerous challenges which Gene managed and resolved confidently and efficiently while maintaining a pleasant and positive demeanor. Our project had a fairly tight timeline and budget which Gene was able to meet in spite of these challenges. He was also resourceful in offering options which helped us stay within our budget.
